Stig Lindberg is for many people a representative of the joie-de-vivre spirit of the 1950s. He became renowned for his designs in china, enamel and textile and also achieved prominence as an illustrator and sculptor. Pottery arrived in 1947 in an era that saw Stig Lindberg working with the natural theme that was later to become his hallmark.
