A Landmark Launch at NK – Introducing Yoga by Lisa Larson

When we got the opportunity to launch our next collaboration with Lisa Larson at the prestigious department store Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), in the heart of Stockholm, we just had to say yes. As a long-standing partner, NK was the perfect setting to unveil Yoga to the world.

Founded in 1902 and opening its iconic doors in 1915, NK is Stockholm’s most esteemed department store, renowned for its elegance, quality, and innovation.

For over a century, NK has curated a world-class selection of fashion, design, and lifestyle brands, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking timeless craftsmanship and exclusive shopping experiences.

With a shared history spanning decades, NK has been home to Design House Stockholm's previous flagship store, our 20-year anniversary celebration, and numerous exclusive launches and exhibitions.

Originally created as personal reminders to practice yoga and master the poses, these raw, unglazed sculptures pay tribute to the strength, stillness, and peace that yoga brings.

As one of the first to embrace yoga in Sweden in the 1970s, Lisa Larson translated its philosophy into sculptural form, capturing movement, balance, and harmony in each piece - a serene counterpoint to an otherwise turbulent world.
