Birds 1967 designed by Lisa Larson, one of Sweden’s most cherished and iconic designers and loved by collectors worldwide! Featured at MoMA Design Store in both New York and Tokyo!

The story begins in Sausalito, California, where a young Lisa Larson spent six formative months in 1967. She found herself swept up in the energy of the Flower Power movement and the expressive beauty of Mexican folk art. In this creatively charged atmosphere, Larson began painting birds — playful and spontaneous, with no thought of production, just pure inspiration.

Lisa Larson's birds are almost like peace doves, a remembrance of a time when the young generation protested against war and dreamt about a new society.
