Product story

Ada and Worapong might be Thai, but they have a distinctive Scandinavian feel since the couple studied in Stockholm. Their indoor Greenhouses, in different sizes, was their starting point for a new take on how to bring a green aesthetic indoor at home and in public spaces. Not to mention how plants and flowers will add fragrance, soften the light, improve acoustics, soothe the mind, and of course to
purify and oxygenate the air. And if not for flowers, why not a whole range of herbs for the kitchen?

Manupipatpong of Atelier 2+ acknowledge that even in tropical Bangkok there are too many buildings and not enough green space around. “Bringing the green into interior space is a pleasure for us, because we simply love plants.” says Worapong Manupipatpong ”We want to help create indoor gardens with a straightforward and
very structural design language.”

The contrast between graphically precise light solid ash and powder-coated metal stands in contrast to overflowing lush vegetation. Instead of flowerpots precariously perched on windowsills, on bookshelves, left in a corner, the Botanic collection brings order with an elegant finesse. ”Our favourite flowers are orchids,” explains Ada Chirakranont ”but why not have a couple of bonsai trees? Or fill the trays with ferns or moss? Cactus would be nice too, and seedlings and crispy microgreens of course.”
